As a qualified dyslexic therapist I can offer specialised dyslexia teaching. Other areas of specialist training are teaching students with ASD, ADHD, PDA. I have also supported mainstream teachers to help equip them with strategies to teach neurodiverse learners succeed in a mainstream environment.
As an English teacher with over 25 years GCSE teaching experience. I am able to offer intensive GCSE sessions or help students who are struggling to understand certain areas of set texts, language analysis, inference techniques, creative writing or transactional writing. I can also help prepare students for the GCSE Spoken Language component.
I can work with your child to help prepare for Year 6 SAT examinations or just help boost their confidence with spelling, grammar and language skills. I can help with reading confidence and help to encourage your child to develop a love of reading.
Having taught at a British International School I can offer your child online support whilst living overseas or support when relocating back to the UK.
